The jam page and slapjam.ai have no IP, ownership or licence-grant clause, and no formal legal terms. The organizer claims no rights. The entry must be published as a playable itch.io page, so itch.io's Terms of Service apply.
Gotchas
- There are no formal official rules document, no legal terms and no dispute process. The whole ruleset is the informal jam page plus the slapjam.ai FAQ. The prize pool is sponsor-funded and depends on a small community organizer paying via PayPal.
- Hard format gate: a portrait phone resolution, touch controls and an HTML5 build playable in a phone browser. A desktop or landscape game is not rated.
- Very short window: 48 hours from 08:00 PDT Sep 28 to 07:59:59 PDT Sep 30. The theme is unknown until the start.
