Rights — what you give up

entrant-keeps

The entrant keeps the IP: "All Submissions remain the intellectual property of the individuals or organizations that developed them." The Sponsor gets a non-exclusive license to use the entry for judging.

Gotchas

City Winner $500 cash (20 slots) requires attending an IRL Builders & Brews event per Official Rules ('Entrants attending one of the following participating IRL city events'); no Las Vegas event.
Only ONE bonus award per project (Tavily, City Winner, or Feedback) and Overall OR Track, not both; so you cannot stack $3,000 Tavily + $500 City + $100 Feedback.
Compute is not free beyond promo credits: $25 Token Factory credits via form (code NEBIUS-DEVPOST-GLOBAL26) + $25 via Nebius Builders Program; any extra usage is on you. Requires a Nebius account.
Repo must be public with an OSS license: you effectively give away the code.
