Prizes
$400 cash · 5 slots
The pool is stated as "$400+", with all prizes in cash. Track 1, Best in Show: 1st $150, 2nd $100, 3rd $50. Track 2, Best Devlog: $50, judged by the Bezi team. Track 3, Fan Art: $50, judged by the Bezi team. Fan Art is a standalone competition: "You do not need to submit a game to enter", with one entry per person. Nothing on the page forbids one person winning several tracks, so a solo entrant could in theory stack Best in Show, Devlog and Fan Art (up to $250).

Eligibility
Individuals: eligible
"Open to all participants." ... "Teams are capped at 3 members / Solo is welcome" (no country or age restriction appears anywhere on the jam page)
Checked for one adult entering alone from Nevada, USA. Rules can differ by country, so read the rule quoted here for where you live.
Entry cost
Free to enter
Payout
paypal
PayPal cash. This is not in the Jam 14 rules. The source is the host's own reply in the Bezi Jam 13 forum thread "Payment methods?": "We do PayPal. We'll also donate to games/profiles on here", meaning itch.io donations as an alternative.
Rights — what you give up
entrant-keeps
There is no IP assignment and no license grant for game entries. Games stay on the entrant's own itch.io page, and the page asks only that you credit asset creators.
Gotchas
- The jam has not started. The build window is only 4 days (Oct 23 to Oct 26 PT), the game must be built during the jam, and the second theme that decides the Creativity score is sealed until Oct 23.
- Discord members get the sealed theme 24 hours early (Oct 22). Entrants who are not on Discord start at a disadvantage, and theme clues are posted there in the weeks before.
- The hard deadline has no late submissions and no edits after submitting, so you cannot upload bug fixes (a Jam 13 forum thread asked exactly this). The page's 'PST' label is wrong: the real cutoff is 11:59:59 PM PDT, which is 06:59:59 UTC on Oct 27.
- Round 1 is a community popularity vote. The page itself says web builds get more votes, you must rate 5 random entries in a queue before rating others, and past jam forums were full of rate-for-rate swaps.
